Joan Axelson serves as the Office Manager at the LTI. She is responsible for overseeing the smooth day-to-day operations of the institute’s administrative functions and oversees administration of departmental spaces and offices.

A native of Pittsburgh, Joan is a key point of contact for both staff and visitors, contributing to the welcoming and efficient environment that supports the LTI’s work.
